Remind App in Speech!
If you are anything like me, you remember about bedtime the very important "thing" you have to do in the morning! I deal with more than 7 schools, so I am always on the road, and making scheduling changes! Sometimes I am making changes at 6 in the morning because of school closures and no buses- life in Northern Alberta! :)
Anyway...
I have just learned about Remind and what a quick and easy way to send information and connect with parents and teachers thru text! I love it...I can send info to schools reminding them of the days I will be at the school, send images to teachers and aides, as well as parents. I think the parents will love getting updates and ideas for homework send right to their phones...
So what is it?
Remind is a free text messaging app that helps teachers, students, and parents communicate quickly and efficiently.
Fast: Messages are sent in real time to an entire class, a small group, or just a single person. You can also schedule announcements ahead of time and attach photos and other files.
Accessible: With Remind, you can send text messages straight to any phone, including flip phones. To reach every family, translate your messages into more than 70 languages before you send.
Effective: Use delivery receipts to see who's reading your messages. If you're organizing an activity like a field trip or event, use Remind to manage the activity and collect funds.
I am using Remind to send out reminders and info to parents and teachers of the schools I work for!
If you have questions about how to join one of my lists email me at mindy@creatingcommunicators.net!

Match it! An Associations Game
I made a new product and you know how I love associations!
Its that time of year when I am starting to get tired of the same old stuff... I've spent a small fortune on TPT! :)
You print it off, laminate and then cut out the pieces but leave the mats as entire pages.
If you have nothing but time and money you can use velcro too! That will make it easier to keep it together and hopefully you won't misplace the pieces.

I made this and if you grab it quick you can get it for free!
Please leave me some feedback!!
Have a great day!

Vocabulary
Hey Everyone!
One of my favourite goals to work on is vocabulary, especially associations. I made a Vocabulary pack a while back and got to thinking... I would like the kids to be able to take something home to practice their new skills with mom and dad!
In my vocabulary pack I added a black and white booklet that the kids can color, daub, or use bingo chips ( or chipper chats).
I added 6 more pages to my pack.
Take a look and I hope you like it!
I also put it on sale this week for $2!
Great deal!
Cheers,
Mindy

Luck of the Irish!
Here are some cute, cheap ideas to use in speech therapy this week.
First is my speech and language pack
that targets articulation, beginning sounds, past tense, plurals, comparing and contrasting.
It has 14 pages and its only 0.50!!
Here is another home reader that you can use for literacy, prepositions and vocabulary and the best part is, it's free!!
May the luck of the Irish be with you!!
